Cardboard Chair

One of the most amazing projects that we did in 3D. We had to make a lightweight chair that we can sit on (and not fall over) with only cardboard. The good old times when the studio was a massive cardboard dump!

The Fashion project during the rotation was also to deconstruct and reconstruct, but a piece of garment of course. I was looking into the Japanese traditional clothing - the Kimono, and the traditional paper folding - Origami. The final piece is based on the beauty of women in traditional clothing as well as modern (business suit type) clothing.

First piece of furniture I ever made for my first-ever 3D project. The project aim was to deconstruct and reconstruct a piece of furniture. It used to be a lovely old teacher's desk, but sadly I had to take out all the rusty screws and watch it fall into pieces before slicing it up and stacking all the little pieces into a chair-shelf or shelf-chair (whichever way you like to call it).
